Do i need an appointment to try dresses on?

Yes! Our shop operates on an appointment only basis to ensure that you are given the best experience at Silk & Maple!

What is the price range of your dresses?

Our dresses range from £1300 -£5200, with the average gown sitting around £2000!

We also have our beautiful suite, “To Love, Today” which stocks all of our ready-to-wear dresses and we do have sample sales at least twice a year. These dresses range from £299-£1499! Appointments for To Love, Today can be made here!

Where should i park for my appointment?

We highly recommend parking in either the Kingfisher Leisure Centre car park, which is free for 3 hours and only a short 3 minute walk to the shop! (Just make sure you grab a free ticket for your dashboard!)

Alternatively, you can park anywhere in Sudbury for at least 1 hour, for free, any day of the week. Just be aware that most car parks ask you to get a free ticket to display!

What appointment options do i have to try on for the first time?

We are pleased to offer our Bride-to-Be’s quite a few different appointment types! All of our first try-on choices are at least 2 hours in length, include a private dressing room and a personal, dedicated Bridal Stylist.

Classic Appointment: includes the choice of a glass of bubbly, a soft or hot drink for the Bride-to-Be and up to 4 guests.

Booking fee: £0*

Cocktail Appointment: includes the choice of one of our 5 signature cocktails, a soft or hot drink for the Bride-to-Be and up to 4 guests.

Booking fee: £35*

Champagne Appointment: includes a bottle of champagne, a soft or hot drink for the Bride-to-Be and up to 4 guests. Plus a £50 accessory voucher to be used towards any accessories in store on the day of your appointment when you say yes to the dress!

Booking fee: £75*

To Love, Today Appointment: these are our sale/”ready-to-wear” appointments! These appointments are inclusive of a choice of a glass of bubbly, a soft or hot drink for the Bride-to-Be and up to 4 guests.

Booking fee: £0*

Weeknight: This appointment is 2 hours in length with a personal, dedicated Bridal Stylist and includes the entire shop to yourself! Brides-to-Be will get the choice of bottomless bubbly, soft or hot drinks for the themselves and up to 4 guests. When you say yes to your dress, £25 of your booking fee is put towards your dress!

Booking fee: £50*

Bespoke Bridal Night: this appointment is 3 hours in length and includes the entire shop to yourself! Brides-to-Be will get the choice of either a bottomless cocktail or bubbly, soft or hot drinks, some nibbles for the themselves and up to 4 guests.

There will be surprises & gifts on your arrival as well as vouchers that can be redeemed in store! Plus so much more…

Booking fee: £200*.

*If you are unable to attend your appointment we would be more than happy to reschedule for an alternative date, if applicable. Please give us as much notice as possible to rearrange/cancel. If less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged a £25 Late Notice/No Attendee fee.

what sizes do you stock?

Our dresses in store range from 4- 22, with the average gown being a size 14/16. However, we work with the best designers and dresses can be ordered from a 0-30!

you stock a designer i love but not the dress i have my eye on - what should i do?

You might be in luck - we work with the best of the best and will do everything we can to get the dress you have your eye on, in the shop for your appointment! So let us know the style name or number prior to your visit to us and we do our best to get the dress in for you, personally, to try on!
